Built circa 1918 for Dr. Albert J. Wood and his family, this beautifully restored Victorian awaits. The original wood floors, cut from trees harvested on Twillingate island, remain throughout this grand house, as does Dr. Wood’s waiting room. If only these walls could talk.
We are a Bed & Breakfast steeped in history. Step back in time and discover everything Newfoundland is famous for. In the heart of historic Twillingate, join us in the foyer, a grand place for gathering and sharing stories. A century ago, patients anxiously awaited in the same room – when the house was used as a home and office by a the legendary local, Dr. Woods.
Fresh, crips linens straight from the line - just like Nan.
